About the Summit

The MultiCultural Center’s 24th annual Social Justice Summit will be held on March 2 & 3, 2018 on the HSU Campus. The summit will include a keynote presentation, workshops, film screenings, and discussions.

The Social Justice Summit will:

  • Broaden perspectives on social justice and global issues.
  • Inspire interconnected theories and turning them into action.
  • Strengthen the relationship between environmental consciousness and social justice.
  • What is Social Justice? Social justice is about educating ourselves and others, and taking action to change the status quo. Social justice is about giving voice to communities who have been forced into silence; social justice is about equity and equal access. What is your definition of social justice?
